The Commission's chief prosecutor gave an update and announced that public hearings would be suspended for the summer period.
He also invited interested members of civil society to submit briefs to the commission containing recommendations and suggestions to inform the deliberations on recommendations to be issued for the benefit of Québec state. Those wishing to obtain participant or intervenor status in the Commission's work can apply. The procedure for doing so is set out in Articles 13 and followings of the Rules of operation, procedure, and conduct.

Rules of Operation, Procedure, and Conduct
The Rules of Operation, Procedure, and Conduct are intended to ensure the orderly conduct of all phases of the Commission's work, including the duty of confidentiality and discretion of the Commissioner and employees, conflict of interests, standing to participate, witness preparation, public hearings, the presentation of evidence, and document management.
The Rules also establish the principle of open hearings while providing for the possibility, for the protection of certain rights, of holding hearings in camera and subjecting certain evidence to confidentiality orders.
